i dunno, the frame by frame part of it sucked totally, if you had added jsut ONE frame inbetween motions, this would be absolutely supurb
and maybe a few sound effects?
HAHAH = |......... pretty lame...... besides, the whole "good idea, bad idea" has been done before (and the whole anvil thing has been WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overdone too, since loony toons)
alot like legendary frog, but not as elaborite. your correct use of apastrophies and periods somehow made me happy. and the whole sarcasm of the thing was great.
but of course, this movie isnt perfect (there are hardly any perfect movies really) but lets list off the things i had a problem with, and check them off one by one:
1- the movement. It was very easy to reckognize that you are either, not entirely well practiced with the human anatomy, or just didnt give a shit about how things looked. the hand to the face is the biggest example i can give to improper motion. it seemed like you were trying to get the hand to the head, without it dis-connecting with the rest of the body. Not make the dude look like he was bursting in tears. you get me? body language is key to showing emotions, not just the face.
2- shading. oh man, shading. the most obnoxious part of making a flash. but then again, one of the most important to make the movie feel fluid and like you actually worked on it (well, if you shaded something, you did do alot more work) but the way you did it (convert each body part to symbol and animate them seperately) as apposed to the way i do it (draw out each frame by frame), would make me having to shade, ALOT more work, because im shading every god damn frame, where as you will only have to shade it once, and itll stay shaded the whole way through the animation. but yea, even if you just fill it in with the radial fill option, making each one a slightly different shade of the chosen color, it would make your animation MUCH better
heh, that was a bit overboard...
woot for amelie! great music usually makes a good flash much better. but the one thing i found was lacking in your flash (and possibly the most important thing you should know about flash) was your mis-use of motion tweens, or rather, the absence of motion tweens (and shape tweens) it makes the production of an animation go alot faster and feel alot smoother. and also, i thought that you might not have even used layers... but i soon realised that i wasn't paying enough attention on my second look.
other than that, some audio other than music would be nice, or some backround noises (like people or birds to have a soothing feeling)
enough with the bad things! this flash was great, and shows promis for you in the future (although i hate to have more competition... its hard enough already to get a known name here on NG)
yo no hablos in espaniol? (is that right?)
umm, it wasnt bad, not great either... was missing the whole entertaining part of the flash production. as for the other guy, KWAS71KCK or whatever his/her/it 's name is, screw 'em, he doesnt know anything bout flash, seeing that he hasnt made anything (or hasnt posted it, for reasons that are beyond me)
i dont get it...
why are these so popular? its nothing entertaining... and no matter how many times i tried to watch it, i cant sit through the whole thing... its not even animated really, the only thing that moves is the one image and some text bubbles... =\ i would like to understand why so many people like this! its just a comic book with repeatitive music. although from what ive seen, the plot is good. and the stillframes are well drawn, but its just.... boring
the muffins were great =D
but ummm, some sound effects would have been nice. you know, a clang everytime the swords touched and a thump everytime a punch was exicuted, and perhaps a nice little wuuuuUUUUuuuum sound whenever someone charges up a houduken or whatever they were.... and you should learn about timing so it doesnt feel like it's dragging or in fast-foward. i dunno. i didnt learn flash from any book, just 2 and a half years of messing around @_@
heh, i hardly ever get entertained by stick movies anymore, but this was randomly funny...
thats an uber decker icecream cone- just for you =)
not crap, but not very good either. it had alot of finer points to be worked on. the two biggest ones being your sound and art.
sound) it seems like you have either a very low quality mic or a very low quality recording program. which in turn kinda degrades the sound and makes it sound like it was proccessed... and kinda obnoxious
art) from an artisitical standpoint it would seem like you didnt understand proportions very well, or if you did, you didnt bother with it because you didnt feel like making every symbol for your frame to match physically.
other than that i have no complaints... well, except for the humor, how is A-N-Y of that funny? .... either i dont get it. or your not funny
my proportions are fine! Does Yuu Watase put up with crap like this? I don't think so... I'm sorry my voice sounds like it does or you probably have shitty speakers cuz the sound is very clear! Make a better flash and MAYBE i'll respect you a LITTLE!
it was good, but what didnt make sense is the knights were crazy hard at first, but once all the monks started fighting they became uber easy O_o
